Terms of Use

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Bizmboa account, particularly because seller identity verification and future in-app payments require legal capacity to contract.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided at signup and for keeping your login credentials confidential. Any activity performed from your account is presumed to have been performed by you.

Every account can list products and sell from the moment it is created, with no separate application or Seller account to request. A single user may freely buy and sell on the platform.

The "Verified Seller" badge, shown on a seller's profile and listings, is earned either by completing our identity verification process or by subscribing to a paid Shop subject to equivalent review — it reflects an identity check, not a permission to sell.

The app may limit how many active listings an account without the "Verified Seller" badge or a Shop can publish at once; this limit, when enabled, is shown in the app at the time of posting.

To combat fraud and build buyer trust, earning the "Verified Seller" badge requires submitting an ID document (front and back) plus a verification selfie. These documents are reviewed by our team and used solely for identity verification — they are never made public on your profile or shop.

We reserve the right to accept, reject, or request additional information for any verification request, with or without a detailed reason, though a rejection reason is provided whenever possible.

By posting a listing, photos, a description, a review, or any other content on Bizmboa, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as part of operating the app.

• Prohibited items and content include counterfeit, stolen, illegal, or regulated goods (weapons, narcotics, prescription drugs, etc.)
• Listings that misrepresent a product's condition or price
• Any hateful, discriminatory, or fraudulent content

Transactions (negotiation, payment, delivery or in-person handoff) happen directly between the buyer and the seller. Bizmboa facilitates the connection but is not a carrier, escrow agent, or guarantor of a transaction's outcome, except where explicitly stated for a specific feature.

Certain features (advanced shop analytics, Verified Seller badge) are offered via a paid Premium subscription, billed monthly or annually as you choose, via Mobile Money (MTN Mobile Money, Orange Money) or card. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider; Bizmboa never stores your full card credentials or Mobile Money PIN.

The app provides in-app messaging between buyers and sellers, plus an optional link to WhatsApp when a seller has provided a phone number. Exchanges via WhatsApp are governed by WhatsApp/Meta's own terms and privacy policy, independent of these Terms.

Product and shop reviews can only be left after an order has actually been delivered, to keep them genuine. We reserve the right to remove any review that violates these rules.

We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms, confirmed or suspected fraud, or repeated disregard of community rules.

You can delete your account yourself at any time from the app (Settings → Delete my account), or by contacting us if you no longer have access to the app. Some data may be retained after deletion in accordance with our Privacy Policy and our legal obligations.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Bizmboa is not liable for disputes between users, the quality, legality, or compliance of listed products, or indirect damages arising from use of the app. The app is provided "as is", without warranty of uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified within the app before they take effect.
